Patch Deployments: A Better Patch Status Awareness
KACE Cloud has introduced a new Deployments tab in the Libraries > Patching screen. This tab displays all the patches that are being deployed in your environment. You also have an option to use a filter to only display patches that are missing from one or more devices. You can drill into each patch to see the exact devices from which the patch is missing.

Device Alias: a new way to identify devices
Administrators can now change the display name of any device in the system without impacting the actual device name. KACE Cloud has now included a new field, Device Alias, which is used as the primary field for showing the name of the device. This field is internal to KACE Cloud only and will not be pushed out to the device. By default, the device alias is set to the device name, but administrators can configure the default values in Settings. Device Name will always refer to the actual device name stored on the device, while Device Alias will always refer to the internal, customizable name.

Custom Compliance: Improving Compliance Reporting
Administrators can now selectively ignore specific compliance failures for policies applied to devices. While policies continue to function as they always have been, you can now mark specific items within a policy to not cause a compliance failure. This is particularly useful when there are known issues with the installation of apps, Wi-Fi configurations, or other entities on devices that cause those devices to be marked as out-of-compliance. The failures are still visible, but the compliance state of the device will be reported as in-compliance. For more information about this feature, see Custom Compliance Policy

MSI Installations: using the KACE Cloud Agent
To date, KACE Cloud has used Microsoft's protocol-based mechanism for deploying MSI installers. While this process works well enough, it does not support deployment to devices running on Microsoft Windows Server. With this release, KACE Cloud will now deploy MSI installers using our own KACE Cloud Agent, providing more granular options for deployment.
